Abstract


This research examines E-Commerce Business via the Internet from the perspectiveof Islamic law in Makassar. E-commerce refers to the process of buying and selling,transferring, or exchanging products, services, or information via computernetworks. This study describes the views of Islamic scholars regarding buying andselling in Islamic law, as well as the propositions and hadith related to buying andselling law. the process of implementing e-commerce business transactions via theinternet in Makassar. The research method involved literature analysis, interviewswith academics, bureaucracy, bank customers and employees and executivehousewives in Makassar. The results of the research show that e-commerce lawstates that e-commerce is halal or permissible according to Islamic law, becausethere is no argument that shows its prohibition.
