Abstract


This article contains the results of research to determine the Contribution of Parents of Students in the Utilization of Educational Technology during the Pandemic Period at SDN 239 Salu Minanga, East Luwu Regency. The type of qualitative research. The informants used in this study were the principal, homeroom teacher of students, and 12 students' parents. The way to obtain data is by conducting observations, interviews, documentation and testing the validity of the data with the triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques used are data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis can be concluded, namely: (1) the contribution of parents in the use of educational technology during the pandemic at SDN 239 Salu Minanga, East Luwu Regency is classified as good where students' parents accompany and guide their children when using technology in the learning process; (2) the role of parents in the learning process during the pandemic at SDN 239 Salu Minanga, East Luwu Regency, namely parents as teachers (educators), parents as facilitators and parents as motivators; (3) the obstacles faced by parents in the learning process during the pandemic at SDN 239 salu Minanga, East Luwu Regency, were the educational background of the parents, the economic level of the parents, the type of work of the parents, the time available, and the number of family members.
