ABSTRACT

This study aims to: (1) find out how the professional competence of teachers at SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone in the 2021/2022 academic year, (2) find out how the work discipline of teachers at SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone in the 2021/2022 academic year, (3) find out how the teacher's performance at SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone in the 2021/2022 academic year, (4) knowing whether or not there is a significant influence between professional competence and work discipline on the performance of teachers at SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a type of quantitative research using the ex post facto. The population in this study were all teachers at SMAN 11 Bone, SMAN 22 Bone and SMAN 6 Bone totaling 126 people so that a sample of 95 people was obtained using a simple random sampling. Furthermore, the data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis of this study indicate that the professional competence of teachers is in the medium category with a total frequency of 42 people with a percentage of 44%, teacher work discipline is in the medium category with a total frequency of 47 people with a percentage of 49% and teacher performance is in the medium category with a total frequency as many as 45 people with a percentage of 47%. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that the value (67,027) > (3,10) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which indicates that it is accepted and rejected. Based on the results of these data, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between professional competence and work discipline together on the performance of teachers at SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone in the 2021/2022 academic year.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi profesional guru di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone tahun ajaran 2021/2022, (2) mengetahui bagaimana disiplin kerja guru di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone tahun ajaran 2021/2022, (3) mengetahui bagaimana kinerja guru di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone tahun ajaran 2021/2022, (4) mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh yang signifikan antara kompetensi profesional dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMAN 11 Bone, SMAN 22 Bone dan SMAN 6 Bone yang berjumlah 126 orang sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 95 orang dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Selanjutnya, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru berada dikategori sedang dengan jumlah frekuensi sebanyak 42 orang dengan persentase 44%, disiplin kerja guru berada dikategori sedang dengan jumlah frekuensi sebanyak 47 orang dengan persentase 49% dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori sedang dengan jumlah frekuensi sebanyak 45 orang dengan persentase 47%. Adapun hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa nilai  (67,027) >  (3,10)  dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang menujukkan diterima dan  ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kompetensi profesional dan disiplin kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Bone tahun ajaran 2021/2022.
