The role of exemplary parents and their obstacles in the formation of good morals for children in 10 heads of families in RT. 02 / RW. 08 Mala'lang, Romang Polong Village, Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency, This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Qualitative research. The first finding is the inculcation of religious values ​​such as honesty, patience, diligence and sincerity, the second obstacle is the influence of the environment (playmates), lack of time with children, and social media. The implications of this research are that parents should pay more attention to their children's education from an early age so that children have good personalities, it is hoped that the local village apparatus will conduct training to parents on how to educate their children, and village officials are expected to provide counseling for children so that not affected by negative things.
