Abstract
This article analyzes the song “Rumah Kita” by God Bless as a profound reflection on life, simplicity, and togetherness. The song portrays home not merely as a physical space but as a symbol of love, emotional comfort, and solidarity. By examining lyrics such as "hanya bilik bambu, tempat tinggal kita" (just a bamboo hut, our dwelling place), the article highlights the values of simplicity that remain relevant in today’s fast-paced world. This study employs contextual analysis, lyrical analysis, and reflective approaches to uncover the song's deeper meanings. Data were analyzed through thematic interpretation, audience reception analysis, and historical contextualization to identify key themes such as simplicity, togetherness, and collective responsibility. The findings reveal that “Rumah Kita” carries a timeless relevance, reminding us of the importance of emotional bonds and solidarity in fostering happiness and inclusive communities.
