Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

1. Paper Format:

   • Prepare your paper using Microsoft Word or LaTeX.
   • Use THIS TEMPLATE

2. Paper Length:

   • Papers should be between 6 to 10 pages, including figures, tables, and references.
   • The abstract should not exceed 200 words.

3. Title and Abstract:

   • Provide a clear and concise title that reflects the content of your paper.
   • The abstract should summarize the objectives, methods, results, and conclusion of your research.

4. Author Information:

   • List the names of all authors with their affiliations and email addresses.
   • Use a superscript number to indicate different affiliations.

5. Figures, Tables, and Equations:

   • Figures and tables should be clear, legible, and properly captioned.
   • Maintain a high resolution (at least 300 dpi) for any embedded images.
   • Number equations sequentially and refer to them within the text.

6. Citations and References:

   • Use the APA citation style for references.
   • Include a complete reference list at the end of your paper.

7. Language and Grammar:

   • Ensure your paper is written in clear and concise English.
   • Proofread your paper for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.

8. Submission Process:

   • Submit your paper electronically through the conference management system https://proceedings.uin-alauddin.ac.id/index.php/icsis/icsis_2023.
   • The submission deadline is May 29th, 2023. Late submissions will not be considered.

9. Review Process and Publication:

   • All papers will undergo a normal review process.
   • Papers will be evaluated based on relevance, originality, technical quality, and clarity.
   • Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

10. Ethical Considerations:

    • Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. Ensure all sources are properly cited.
    • Respect the intellectual property rights of others and obtain necessary permissions for any copyrighted material.

11. Presentation and Attendance:

    • Accepted papers will be presented either orally or as posters.
    • Oral presentations should be prepared using PowerPoint or PDF format.
    • Ensure you meet the registration requirements to present at the conference.

Submission Preparation Checklist

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors' names are removed from submission, with "Author" and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors' name, paper title, etc.
7. If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.

Copyright Notice

Authors who submit to this conference agree to the following terms:
a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while allowing the conference to place this unpublished work under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and its initial presentation at this conference.
b) Authors are able to waive the terms of the CC license and enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of this work (e.g., publish a revised version in a journal, post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial presentation at this conference.
c) In addition, authors are encouraged to post and share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) at any point before and after the conference.
