Online games have become popular in society, especially among students. Since the language used as instructions in the game is English, some English vocabularies can be acquired. Thus, Online games can also be useful for enriching English vocabulary towards students. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of online games in increasing students’ English vocabulary. Moreover, to master any language, vocabulary is quite needed because students’ language skills will definitely improve as their vocabulary increase. Playing online games can help gamers expand their vocabulary in English. This study uses a qualitative description approach. The author conducted direct observations, interviews and questionnaires to obtain data and sources.
