Abstract
This inquiry learning model is a learning model that emphasizes student independence in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of social studies students who did not use the inquiry learning model assisted by sketch media with those who used the inquiry learning model, as well as the effect of using the inquiry learning model assisted by sketch media in class IV MI Muhammadiyah Ballatabbua, Gowa Regency. The type of research used was Quasi Experimental Design using a nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the learning outcomes of social studies that did not use the inquiry learning model assisted by sketch media obtained an average pretest score of 57.04 in the low category and an average posttest score of 79.09 in the medium category. And the learning outcomes of social studies that used the inquiry learning model assisted by sketch media obtained an average pretest score of 61.13 in the low category and an average posttest score of 82.50 in the high category. and There is an influence of the use of inquiry learning model assisted by sketch media from the results of the independent sample t-test hypothesis test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the calculated t value> t table = 2.302> 2.018 (a/2); (df) which means there is a significant difference in the results of students' social studies learning using inquiry learning model assisted by sketch media.
