Abstract


The purpose of this study was to find out the completeness of the facilities and infrastructure at MTsS Bontote'ne, Gowa Regency, to find out the strategy of the head of madrasah in improving facilities and infrastructure at MTs Bontote'ne, Gowa Regency, and to find out the obstacles of the head of madrasah in improving facilities and infrastructure at MTs Bontote. 'ne Gowa Regency. This research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this study consisted of primary data from the head of the madrasah, as well as secondary data from the deputy head of the madrasah in the field of facilities and infrastructure, madrasah committee, and documentation. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data uses triangulation which consists of triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results showed: (1) the completeness of the facilities and infrastructure of MTsS Bontote'ne was not complete and did not meet the standard of facilities and infrastructure. (2) the strategy of the head of the madrasah as the leader to coordinate with the Ministry of Religion as the institution above it. As well as making efforts to improve communication with institutions and madrasah committees (parents/guardians). (3) obstacles for madrasah heads in improving facilities and infrastructure lead to limited funding and sources of funds. The implication of this research is that the madrasah principal of MTsS Bontote'ne always improves the facilities and infrastructure which is the main key because madrasah development with all its facilities requires the management of the madrasah principal both in the administrative process and in its implementation. As well as madrasah personnel who always contribute to the madrasah.
