Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the English proficiency requirements of students at the State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar's public health studies program. The goal of this study was to identify students' demands for English language proficiency throughout academic contexts. A list of student needs on language-related topics is the end result of the needs analysis.110 respondents served as the data source for this study's quantitative approach of data collection. Questionnaires were the primary research tools. The findings of this study suggest that students of public health require specific English Learning in the area of health. For public health students to succeed in their objective of improving their English abilities, learning English is crucial. According to the findings of the learning requirements analysis, students need to practice public speaking, and they prefer learning through song listening and instruction from native speakers.
