This paper examines the model of managing living needs with Peduli Maslahah within the Bugis Muslim community. In this widely evolving digital era, technology advancements, smartphones, e-commerce, and prominently, convenience are being emphasized, providing ease and comfort to society in the current era. The discovery of new products and new payment methods (such as PayLater) offers convenience in improving the quality of life for individuals, as discussed earlier. Based on research from various sources and user experiences with PayLater, it can be concluded that the existence of PayLater presents a new perspective for society to support their daily lives. Therefore, it is expected that Muslims understand and truly comprehend the essence of consumption, which entails utilizing money for necessary needs without indulging in excessive shopping. The writing of this article aims to emphasize that the use of PayLater should be accompanied by knowledge and awareness of the inevitable risks involved.
