Abstract

Every activity in construction that involves human workers has a potential hazard. The construction of the X clinic is a clinic that is engaged in the health sector. The purpose of this study is to find out how to identify hazards, assess risks and establish controls according to existing hazard risks through the HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control) method which has a process of identifying problems, measuring risks, and controlling risks which are divided into 5 potentials. namely mechanical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychological. The population in this study were all workers in the construction of clinic X totaling 26 people and the sample in this study were workers and supervisors as many as 6 people taken by Probability Sampling by Simple Random Sampling. The results of the assessment research found in the construction of clinic X is the use of PPE that is less effective so that there are many potential hazards of controlling by using personal protective equipment (PPE). And to control what is recommended is to use personal protective equipment PPE.
